The spectacular light show made up for the lack of glow sticks, as seizure-inducing strobes and orange bulbs lit the band up perfectly in time with the music.

"Something glorious is about to happen," sang Bloc Party front man Kele Okereke near the beginning of the band's long-awaited Auckland show. He was dead right.
Aided by local support act Cut Off Your Hands the British dance-rock act thrilled a near sell-out crowd at Auckland's Telstraclear Stadium with a set that proved exactly why they're one of England's most hyped exports.
For this event Oceania Audio supplied our brilliant Meyer Milo system, and equally brilliant engineers to fly, tune and operate it! The team did a beautiful hang. The House Control Console was our stunning Midas XL4.

Oceania Audio's Tom Worley - System Engineer for the show had the Meyer Milo Array curvilinear tuned up a treat. Not a mid-frequency comb in sight! Other members of the Oceania "A" team on deck included Neil Heathcote over in Monitor World (Monitors for "Cut Off Your Hands") ... there may have been others ...
Bloc Party's lighting designer had a simple rig which he programmed on the day of the show. Using Oceania's Hog 3 this was easily achieved.
